The land of the Incas
Coffee is grown on nearly 200,000 small farms throughout Peru, averaging less than 4 acres. Producers work communally to harvest coffee, mill their coffee in artisanal wet mills and export through well- managed farmer associations. During a nine day excursion through the coffee heartlands we will visit women’s cooperatives, organic coffee farms and community projects that are helping farmers improve their businesses and communities to thrive. Visit amazing Cusco and ancient Macchu Picchu. Trek parts of the Inca Trail.
